Job Announcement (Accounting and Programme Assistant)
Accounting and Programme Assistant The position includes the following tasks and responsibilities:
50% Accounting Assistance:
Arrange cash and cheque payments
Monitor and maintain fund transfers and reserves
Provide timely inputs to update the budget plan
Coordinate with Program Managers with regard to budget planning
Correspond with banks and FNF Offices on financial related matters
Implement financial procedures according to FNF guidelines
Coordinate with accountant in Bangkok on documents and procedures
50% Programme Assistance
Management of office general administration, incl. inventory
Office communication, including national and international phone calls
Assistance in preparing budget estimates and accounting documents
Assistance in organisation of public and other events
Arrangement of travels and accommodation for international experts, participants, colleagues
Translation of documents from English to Myanmar and vice versa
Support program managers in collection of information related to various projects related topics
General assistance to the colleagues
have working experience in cash management;
be fluent in the English and Myanmar language (speaking, writing), proficiency in German is an asset;
have excellent skills in standard software programmes;
be proficient in new social media usage and communication;
have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
be able to work in a team;
be willing to conduct business travels.
